On our way to Aspen for work + fun, Zach and I had the chance to stop at Great Sand Dunes NP.
GSD is one of my favorite National Parks because of how small it made me feel. While the dunes aren’t the biggest in the world or anything crazy like that, we felt like we were hiking for AGES before reaching one of the peaks.
The views were absolutely breathtaking – paired with the sound of people boarding down the slopes made for an unforgettable experience. There’s always such a mix of fear and overwhelming gratitude visiting places so vast.
