One of my favorite weddings of the year for MANY REASONS –
Charley + Elise started off their wedding day at Saint Mary Cathedral, the prettiest architecture downtown Austin has ever seen. Their ceremony was romantic and their exit surrounded by their closest friends and family.
The reception vibe was laid-back, like a classy family reunion – Laguna Gloria traded in the Texas charm for the West Coast warmth. The best golden hour Texas has ever seen. It felt like it lasted the ENTIRE evening. As the sun sank below the horizon, that warm golden glow was cast upon dinner, the tables decorates with soft pastel florals.
Don’t even get me started on the dance party. It was such a blast.
Elise had requested that her photos be as documentary as possible, only posing family photos and a few wedding party. It was so much fun to take a step back and perceive the wedding as a guest, not as a vendor.
